Forlong Tintilla Anfora

Forlong Ánfora is the new red wine from Bodega de Forlong in El Puerto de Santa María, made with grapes of the Tintilla de Rota variety, Graciano grape variety.

In this new vintage of Tintilla, 2018, the weather conditions have made it somewhat peculiar, much cooler, more of an Atlantic cut.
So, Rocío Áspera and Alejandro Narváez (from Bodega de Forlong), have decided this year to make a wine without aging in wood, and leave the wine 12 months in clay amphorae for maturation. This has meant making a new wine, hence the name Ánfora, with a fully varietal character, without any interference from the wood.
