From Sonoma Mountain, on the North Coast of California, comes this attractive Zinfandel from Jack London Vineyards.

As soon as it is uncorked, you can perceive its intense aroma, which highlights the balsamic licorice, reminiscent of licorice candy menthol, with some aromatic point of pharmacy (yes, pharmacy).
Ripe black fruit somewhat raisined and dried figs.
In the mouth it is a very ripe wine, round, with a liquorish and elegant touch. It is a wine with good acidity, silky tannin and mineral.
